Meet the Chocolate Makers of the Cross Atlantic Chocolate Collective

We’re excited to announce a new collaboration with the Cross Atlantic Chocolate Collective, a Black-led organization with the dream of empowering African and Caribbean cacao farmers to become chocolate makers. Join us for a live Zoom conversation with members from Grenada, Jamaica, Malawi, Nigeria, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Wednesday, December 7 on Zoom

7:00pm Eastern | 6:00pm Central | 4:00pm Pacific

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The Cross Atlantic Chocolate Collective aims to decolonize the chocolate market by enabling members to participate at all stages of chocolate production—from owning and managing the farm to harvesting and processing the beans to refining, tempering, molding and selling their own chocolate. The collective is the only Black-led organization uniting African and Caribbean cocoa-growing and chocolate-making communities behind a single brand. By sharing their knowledge, insight, talents, support, and encouragement, they are committed to their dream of turning cacao farmers into chocolate makers.

We’re excited to offer two products from Cross Atlantic available on our site. The Chocolate Bar Collection Box features a random assortment of nine, 20g chocolate bars handcrafted by the same farmers who grew and harvested the cacao beans in Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Ghana, and Nigeria. The Drinking Chocolate Collection includes two drinking chocolates from St. Lucia and Malawi.
